The measuring accuracy of a torque or rotary haptic measuring system depends on the torsion-resistant coupling between test object and test unit and the lowest possible mass moment of inertia in the whole measuring unit.
SYSTEC meets this by the consequent use of technologies as laser sinter pressure for generation torsion-resistant geometric structures and optimized construction methods to reduce the mass moment of inertia of gripper components.
With the DHG series SYSTEC covers practically the whole range of rotary actuators found in control units and in vehicle interriors.
Rotary haptic gripper DHG 3
The rotary haptic grippers in the DHG3 series have been specially developed for use in rotary haptic measuring systems. They have been optimized with regard to the mass moment of inertia and torsion resistance, while their high reliability and torsion resistance have been demonstrated in many applications.
The DHG3 gripper is available in two ranges of locking pressure and three kind of fingertips.

Rotary haptic gripper DHG4
SYSTEC developed a gripper type especial for toggle switch use, the DHG 4 type.
As well as gripper from type DHG3 they center the measurement string over the switch and warrant by their low torque of inertia and the high torsion stiffness resistant a high accuracy of measurement.
A special, in the gripper integrated mechanism uniformly distribute the locking force to all four fingers. The fingers adapt oneself by closing at the outline of the switch and ensure a stiff touch of each finger to the surface of the switch.
