For Aquisition of haptic torque curves from rotary actuators in the automotive and consumer sector SYSTEC developed the Rotary Haptic Module type DHM 3
The Modul is able to measure torque in a range of ± 100 mNm with an accuracity of ±1mNm and has an integrated encoder for exact allocation of torque and angle of rotation.
The surrounding housing protects the system from external influences and protects the user from moving parts, so that the module can be used without a safety enclosure.
One special feature of the system consists in its high tolerance to radial offset between module and rotary actuator. This offset may be up to 0,5mm in each direction without negatively afecting the measuring results.
The Rotary haptic module will delivered by default with a universal gripper of our DHG series.
Naturally we deliver custom-built grippers on request.
The Rotary haptic module can be integrated in a production line or in a laboratory system.For direct commands to/from a PLC the Module provides a small DIO interface. In both cases the analysis to be on a separate measurement-PC.
All DHM moduls are compatible with our universal device carrier UDC.
For use the DHM in a laboratory system SYSTEC has developed the Software Measurement Explorer (MX). With the MX and a DHM module a hig-precision labory system is quick and simple realized.
