Adobe Document Services

 

 

 

Adobe Document Services are the basis for creating intelligent documents and their integration with core applications as well as enterprise- and administration processes. 
With the help of Document services, data are turned into valuable resources which can be used in many ways. Using XML (Extensible Markup Language) and Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format), these ressources can be integrated in any IT-environment. 
This does not effect the document integrity or the use of open standards.

Adobe Document Services consist of two high-performance document solutions: Adobe® Acrobat® and Adobe LiveCycle™ -  the new product line of J2EE-based server- and design solutions. Both support enterprises and public authorities with administrating important internal processes and securing confidential information inside and outside the organization. Adobe LiveCycle integrates manual processes into enterprise systems and contributes critically to improving the communication with customers, optimizing internal processes as well as implementing legal conditions.

SYSTEC PDF-Services

 

 

From central generation of postscript and PDFs to signing and releasing a document for online distribution or to be transferred into an EDM-system. 

SYSTEC PDF Services is a client-server-solution which eases the work of technical writers and translators providing highest quality. 

Naturally, all document modifications can be collected and traced  via  data bases. Thus, any modifications and comments in PDF documents can be centrally administrated, even in case of long and complex projects. 

Way of functioning

	Open Adobe FrameMaker on the client
	Open the document - the book - in the network of the data server
	Select "File > Save as PDF-Service"
	Select the quality (online, print, etc.)

Your print job is passed to the queue-management of SYSTEC PDF-Services on the PDF server which monitors and spools all jobs.  Adobe FrameMaker on the server side creates the post script and passes the file to the Distiller which creates the document in the selected quality. On the client, you receive the following messages:

	Successful filing on the data server

	You receive the PDF on the client, opened for signing
	You release the PDF for the CheckIn-process
